Thanks Randa. I’m working on a couple more Tumblr themes and I’ll post a note when they are done.

It looks like Simen at the Daily Meh didn’t like the background image in this theme. He said it looked screwed up when he was viewing the text.

So, I looked at the theme in all the browsers I could install and sure enough, on IE, there was a flicker that I didn’t see when putting the theme together. Good call Simen.

So I created two more variations of the theme, one without the image and one with a white background and black border.

The cool thing about themes is they are completely customizable. If there something you don’t like, remove it. But in the case where you don’t have control over how it looks, as was the case with my theme, and blog, it does hurt the eyes to read. I’ll pay more attention on the next one.

Do you mind adding variable size styles for different length quotes into this theme? I’m having trouble hacking that little bit…

Sure, let me look into that. That’s actually a great idea. I’m assuming you want longer link text to use a smaller font size… so it would be based on the length of the text. Yes, let me look at it.
