World Horror Convention is coming to Salt Lake City March 27-30th. I’m not really into the Horror genre but I think it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet more writers, watch some great indie movies, and basically have a scary time. Come and join the fun.

    I checked out your blog(s). I like it/them.

I’m going to be at WHC as well. I’m pretty excited about the whole thing, especially the chance to network with other writers, editors and publishers. Holler at me if you notice my nametag.

I’d like to ask you a couple of questions regarding the Marines. I’ve got a character in a story that’s a Marine and need some info for verisimilitude.

Glad you like it/them… I’m behind on a lot of writing at the moment.

I would be glad to meet up at WHC. I’ll look for you.

Ask away about the Marine, glad to do what I can.

I was at WHC, but spent most of my time helping to run the art show. There’s another convention (CONduit 18), this one covering science fiction, fantasy, and horror, held on Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-25) at the Radisson (same hotel as WHC2008). If you’re a writer, it’s a great place to be as there are always a variety of workshops, panels and so on which can help you improve. If you just enjoy the genre, there are plenty of activities, panels, and presentations to attend.

Hope to see you there, Thom!
